DISC behavioural styles framework

DISC is a behavioural styles framework that is used to understand the unique styles of people. It is a great way to improve communication within teams and foster better understanding of individual differences. The DISC reference framework includes four behavioural categories, each with a unique set of strengths and weaknesses. The DISC workshop consists of an interactive and hands-on full-day workshop that will equip you with background knowledge and practical skills. It will help you understand the four primary DISC personality types and explore their solutions.

Understanding your own and others’ behavioral patterns is critical to improving your leadership skills. Understanding what drives others can give you powerful tools to help bridge conflicts. The DISC behavioural style questionnaire takes about 10 minutes to complete and provides detailed highlights of your personality. Learning about your own style will improve your communication, reduce stress, and improve productivity within your organization.

Four phases of change

Effective leaders recognise the need to undergo leadership workshops. These workshops are designed to enhance leadership skills by using creative problem-solving and collaboration. The NZ Leadership Programme is an intensive pathway that has helped develop the next generation of leaders in NZ. The NZ Leadership Programme comprises three intensive 2-day modules designed to develop the future leaders of NZ.

The Catapult Change Toolkit helps leaders and organisations to assess their change readiness. It also provides step-by-step change workshop guides that align with the four phases of change. The tools can be used multiple times to track the progress of individuals and groups. The tools also allow for composite reports to be generated that show the progress of different parts of an organisation or demographic group.

Effective delegating

Effective delegation is an important part of leadership. If you want to ensure that your team members are getting the right job done, you must have clear expectations. Ineffective delegation can result in missed deadlines and the wrong direction. To avoid such problems, you should make sure to communicate your expectations with the task taker and provide them with the resources and tools they need to complete the job.

Delegation is a process that requires time, but can increase team productivity. To make delegation successful, you must first identify the right team member for each task. It is important to choose someone who has the appropriate skills, interest, and willingness to learn. If the employee is inexperienced, they may require additional guidance.
