Every year we run three or four New Zealand-wide tours for small groups (between four and ten people): these are usually groups of friends, family members, or overseas birding groups and nature societies. Preparing a custom itineraries that take account of particular group’s individual interests has become something of a speciality for us. We now find that groups who have enjoyed travelling with us in New Zealand have asked us to prepare itineraries for them overseas – in Australia and the South Pacific. Your group will have a dedicated guide/driver.

  • In New Zealand we hold Department of Conservation concessions for all areas/trails/islands of DOC estate we visit – this is a legal requirement and cost includes royalties to the Department. As concessionaire we must accompany the trip to ensure that all conditions are being met.
  • In the Pacific we take account of current situations, we are up-to-date with our knowledge of local conditions – that is, political and environmental conditions, or accommodation and transport requirements. From our New Zealand base, we can monitor the region with the help of our network of contacts and official agencies.
